Porobably certain quantity captured T -34 arrived also in France, where they were used for training purposes.

Germans Minenraumpazner III, on the background seems ex-soviet T-34. Also on the background Wespe anb Bergehetzer. US Army ordnance holding area near Paris. Probably spring of 1945.

The photos were taken by Col. J. B. Jarret (US Army Ordnance) in 1945 and they are from his collection at the Military History Institute in Carlisle Barracks, PA. The collection identifies the location as OW Ordnance # 64 Paris. On the background seems part of T-34 turret side.

According with unconfirmed sources 2 SS Pz. Div. "Das Reich" use a few turreteless T-34 in Normandie, classified as "Berge T-34", first saw in Normandie in july 1944. Probably three T-34 used by repair unit. On the picture T-34 in the Trun - Mont-Ormel area, captured by Polish troops.
