Self Propelled Gun SU-76 I

One of the most interesting machines of those stood in German units - self-propelled unit SU-76I (I = Inostrannaya = foreign). Self Propelled Gun was developed and was produced on the base of the captured German tanks Pz-III of different modifications. SPG rearmed with soviet 76 mm tank gun F-34. As the minimum one machine again arose in the structure of Wehrmacht. (128 Pz.Jg.Abt. 23 Pz.Div. in autumn-winter 1943 had one Sturmgeshutze SU-76I)
