On September 1943, only the prototype was ready. Germans tested the vehicle and ordered production of 300 Lince. 129 were produced between 1944 and 1945. German troops used them in Balkans and in Italy for escort and recce duties.

unit insignia, a panther head is painted on right mudguard.
